Welcome to Natures' Call

Where even Aliens come to visit !!!

Welcome to Natures' Call!!!

On the following pages are a compilation  of photographs I have taken over the past 20 plus years. While most of the photos are nature-based many aren't, as both beauty isn't always confined to nature nor humor limited to humans.

First a little about myself:

I first took an interest in photography in 1979/1980 while taking art classes in High school. Even though I had been able to understand (and learn) what the teachers were saying, things never turned out the way the I wanted to. Then in my Senior year a friend of the family gave me a Canon AE-1 with a 100-200 mm telephoto lens. Then in 1986, while stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, I picked up a Minolta Maxxum 7000, along with a flash unit and 100-200 mm telephoto on top of the 50 mm that came with the camera. Since then, I've picked up a Maxxum 7, a Maxxum 7D (digital) and a Maxxum 5D (also digital) as well as several lenses that fit them ranging from a 28-100 mm up to a 75-300 mm, plus a 2x teleconverter.

While the majority of the photos listed here are nature in origin, hence the name Natures' Call, I have taken shots of various places, areas, or whatever may look interesting. Basically, I have taken pictures ranging from nature to maritime to...
well you get the "picture" (okay, the pun is intended).
Although I try to keep the pictures as ubcluttered as possible, that isn't always possible due to the many variables that usually arise.  While it's nice to have that "perfect" shot, the reality is that isn't always the case. What is listed on the following pages are a few pictures of what I've taken. If you don't see it listed, chances are I may have it, but haven't posted it. Feel free to e-mail and ask, and I will see if I have it. I will add more pictures as time and space permit.

feel free to look around while you're here
